Neuropsychiatric Evaluation

Personality and behavior changes are common in individuals who have suffered a brain injury.  All to frequently, the same individual may have a pre-existing history of psychiatric or behavioral problems.  This can be compounded further by the understandable adjustment problems that occur in response to such injuries.  Consequently, it is critical of the injured person's recovery that these problems are accurately assessed and treated.

The staff of doctors at Brain Power are highly skilled in evaluating and treating these problems.  A comprehensive history is gathered and personality tests may be administered.  Further, collateral interviews with family members are performed, if possible, so as to learn who the injured person was and how they functioned before their injury.  From this information an appropriate treatment plan can be developed.
